At CN Innovations, we are a dynamic hub dedicated to nurturing meaningful technologies, innovative design, and the realization of human aspirations.
Our roots trace back to the inception of the Chung Nam Group in 1935, founded by the visionary duo, late Mr. and Mrs. Chong Ching Um. Initially focusing on the manufacturing, trading, and distribution of watches in Hong Kong, our journey has been one of evolution and transformation.
As we entered the 1990s, a pivotal period for our company, we embarked on a strategic shift towards investing in cutting-edge technologies. These investments have not only driven paradigm shifts in the industries we engage with but have also underscored our commitment to fostering positive environmental and social change.
Embracing innovation as a core principle, CN Innovations continues to spearhead groundbreaking initiatives that shape the future landscape of technology and design, contributing to a more sustainable and socially responsible world.

Late 1980s
We expanded our production of watch components with the introduction of surface treatment and MIM technology to provide value added aesthetic and precision parts.

1990s
We invested in the development and commercialization of our thin film, powder metallurgy and metal injection technologies, which complemented our metal processing capabilities and enabled us to reduce the use of chemical agents and our dependence on galvanic plating.
We began to develop patents for nano-composite coating technology capable of modifying properties of other coatings to suit the functionality of their applications.

Early 2000s
We expanded our industry reach to include consumer electronics products, in particular mobile phones.

2003
We established manufacturing operations in Switzerland.

2006
We begin production of Cover Glass in Pinghu, Shenzhen.

2007
We established our laser technology design subsidiary, MSolv, based in Oxford, England.

2009
We establish CNBio, a world leader in organ-on-chip solutions for in-vitro drug discovery and testing.

2010
We commenced commercial production of touch panels.
We established Green Mobility Innovations, a leader in commercial new energy transport solutions in Hong Kong

Vitalink is awarded the high-tech enterprise certification of China.

2015
Vitalink establishes a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Chibi, Hubei.

Zoltrix is awarded the high-tech enterprise certification of China.

2018
CNBio signs its first collaboration with the United States Food & Drug Administration.

2020
CNBio closes its Series A funding round, receiving investment from CITIC Securities and CN Innovations.
We enter the automotive industry through precision metal parts.
Winsky is awarded the high-tech enterprise certification of China.

We enter the semiconductor industry through precision metal parts.
Vitalink receives investment from Bain Capital.

CNPC is awarded the high-tech enterprise certification of China.
We apply coating and glass technology to the automotive industry.

2023
Our advanced machinery is used in the IC Substrate industry for the first time.
Vitalink, CNPC and Winsky receive “Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original SME” Certification.

2024
CNBio closes its Series B funding round, receiving investment from Bayland Capital and CN Innovations.
Vitalink receives the PRC National Manufacturing Champion award in PVD for mobile devices.
